Exeter Avenue at Hampton Beach, early 1900s
View down Exeter Avenue at the south end of Hampton Beach, early 1900s. Exeter Avenue was first listed in the Hampton directory in 1915, but was not there in the 1911 directory. In the mid-1960s it was renamed Epping Avenue (which name it retains today), probably to avoid confusion with Exeter Road for emergency calls.
